TOPIC: REPENT NOW

Many people are playing with their souls as a result of the things of this temporary life, even when the Lord has done everything for them. He suffered for all and died for all and paid the price of our sin with His precious blood at the Cross of Calvary and has given us the grace to know him, to hear his wold and he warned them severally but they have refused to repent, and if you are among such people, the question is;

Don’t wait. Don’t procrastinate. As the word of God is coming, do not be among them that will harden your heart to death, that will become adamant as this word is coming forth, that will feel unconcerned, that will feel uninterested, Psalm 95:7-8, Psalm 95:6. The Lord took an Oath and said these people who had hardened their heart, will not enter into his rest, and so, do not harden your heart. God will not spare such people on the judgment day, Hebrew 9:27. Therefore, we must take our stand now and we must not wait till tomorrow.

Because, if you fail to do it now if you fail to repent now and die in your sin, or the rapture takes place, I want to let you know, the opportunity will not be given to us again, Psalm 9:17. Anybody who is a sinner, before God, such a person is a wicked person, and no matter how many, no matter the number of those that are doing evil, before God, if they refuse to repent, they will return to hell.

So, let no man be deceived. Do not forget that after death, there shall be no more grace to repent. So, repent now.

2. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE RESULT.

POINT 1: The Necessity Of Salvation And The Unfortunate Situation

So, every one of us should understand that the salvation of our soul is very necessary now because, after this one life, there shall be no more grace to be saved, whether by rapture or by any other means. It is now, and the reason being that the grace to be saved does not extend after the rapture or death. If anyone refuses to be saved now that we have the grace, when the rapture takes place, it will be difficult under the torture of the Antichrist. It will be impossible, Hebrew 9:27.

So now that the grace is at work, the grace that brings salvation to all, and teaches us to deny ungodliness and unworldly lust as appeared, we must take advantage of that grace. Now, that we have the grace that can bring salvation and makes one depart from his or her former lifestyles and begin to live a life that pleases God, we must do it, Titus 2:11, 2 Corinthians 6:2. Now is the accepted time, the time is coming when repentance will no longer be accepted.

After the rapture, that grace will seize to work, and if any man will be saved, it must be such a person can only be saved by his or her blood which is impossible. Matthew 19:26, God has made it possible for us through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 15:5, it’s now or never, Hebrew 9:27.

The unfortunate situation is that many are victims who do not bother to be saved, rather, they are increasing in iniquities, in pride, arrogance, fornications, masturbation, covetousness, and all wickedness and have hardened their hearts to destruction, Psalm 95:7-11, 2 Corinthians 6:2, 1 Corinthians 7:29-31.

POINT 2: Our Expected Response And The Result

So every one of us must turn our back to every earthly glory which we met here and shall leave it here. We must not allow those things to deceive us, 1 Timothy 6:6-7, whatsoever one acquires in the world, the degrees, the money, building, it is certain that nobody is going back with these things. We must do it now like the Apostles. The Apostles did not allow those things to deceive them, they were very wise, Mark 10:28. They know the things of this world together can not save a soul. Everything put together cannot be compared with our soul. So, they forsook those things and followed Christ. We should heed to the counsel of the Lord, Matthew 6:33.

As we surrender our lives to Jesus, as we become born-again, and begin to live the lifestyle of the kingdom, everything we are looking for shall be given to us. Spiritually, financially, Philippians 4:19.

We must not allow the things of this world to make us lose the main thing which is the Salvation of our soul, Mark 8:36-37.

The correction is that nobody should follow their examples, nobody should harden their heart, nobody should continuing to remain adamant as you hear the message, nobody should keep on procrastinating, we should decide now because tomorrow may be too late. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, the Lord is making every one of us understand that we must repent now and we must not wait and begin to give excuses, Matthew 25:46. As many that will repent now, when the rapture of the saints comes, they will go with the saints.

As many that will continue to delay and procrastinate, once they drop their body and die after then will come judgment. The opportunity to be saved, to repent will not be given to them anymore.

And those who will believe and give their life to our Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved and inherit the Kingdom of God, Matthew 25:34.
