Unbreakable Yoke Was Shattered By God

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing Isaiah 10:27.

When God steps in, no chain can remain unbroken! The power of the Almighty has shattered years of bondage in our brother’s life. His testimony is proof that giving to God can destroy the strongest yokes. His testimony goes thus:

My name is Brother God’stime Akpan, and I thank God for bringing me back to faith in Christ Jesus. I am grateful for the salvation of my soul.

For 15 years, I struggled with chronic masturbation. It felt like a spiritual arrow that manifested physically. Despite praying, fasting, and reading the Bible extensively, I found no relief. However, by God’s grace, during this year’s program titled “From Sorrow to Joy,” held in February 2025, the pastor called for a pledge. I stepped forward and redeemed my pledge. God used that act of faith to break the yoke of 15 years of masturbation in my life.

My second testimony is about how God delivered me from sports betting. Whenever I won, I’d feel an urge to keep playing to win more. For example, I once won ₦70,000, but I ended up losing it all and even spent all the money I had saved in the bank. But during that special program, God used that same pledge to break the yoke of this destructive habit. Praise the Lord!

Since joining this church, God has done countless wonderful things in my life, and I give Him all the glory.
