The Reward Of Sowing – Grand Finale Hope For The Needy 2024

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 – But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

No one can give above God. When you purpose in your heart to serve God with your substance, He will, in turn, service your needs. Our brother has experienced the incredible benefits of sowing into God’s work. Read his testimony below:

My name is Brother Godwin Nwaobodo, and I want to appreciate God for His goodness in my life. I joined The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement in 2004, initially following my parents to church without paying attention to the messages. However, I fully became a Chosen in 2009, and I thank God for that transformation.

In 2009, during the program titled “That Yoke Must Break,” I was struggling with delays in gaining admission and facing many disappointments. Before then, I saw nothing wrong with stealing from my parents. During that program, our pastor preached about the sin of stealing from one’s parents, and the message touched me deeply. Amazingly, that day was my birthday, and God gave me the greatest gift of salvation.

When I got home, I repented and returned all the money I had taken from my mother’s business without her knowledge. It was only by God’s mercy that I was able to make things right, and since then, the God of Chosen has been favoring me.

Today, I am here to thank God for journey mercies. I arrived in Nigeria on Friday for this program, I also thank God for providing me with accommodation within the church premises. Additionally, I want to appreciate Him for granting me safety on all my business trips and for taking me to a higher level.

I also thank God for teaching me the principle of sowing and reaping in this church. Last year, I made a decision to take the words of our pastor seriously. I began sowing diligently and paid my first fruit despite facing many difficulties and God in return blessed me with a very lucrative job and placed me in a position of honour.

My Second Testimony

My last visit to Lagos was in 2021 during the program titled “Hope for the Needy.” At that time, I was extremely poor and wretched. I was also very worried because I was aging and still single.

After that program, the God of Chosen answered my prayers and blessed me with a beautiful Chosen youth sister as my wife. Before she conceived, I made a vow to God that if He would bless me with a baby boy as my first child, I would give Him the sum of ₦100,000.

When my wife took in, I paid the vow in faith even before the baby was born. By God’s grace, He granted me my heart’s desire and blessed us with a baby boy. Today, God has further blessed my marriage, and I am now a proud father of a boy and a girl.
