BIBLE TEXT: Joel 3:13-14, John 4:34-36, Revelation 14:15.

TOPIC: THE HARVEST IS RIPE.

Everyone should know that the harvest is ripe indeed, seeing that many are fed up with the world and the pleasures of this life, they are looking for a solution, peace, righteousness, and salvation of their souls. They are tired of drugs, alcohol, immorality, and the weight of this world. Many are looking for God’s intervention as they are tired of materialism, if with all they have they don’t get the fulfillment that is to tell you that they are ripe for harvest, Mark 8:36-37.

Mark10:28; the things of this world do not gain someone’s eternal life, the disciples realized that the things of this world won’t earn them salvation and eternal life, 1st Timothy 6:6-7. Many who have realized the vanities of this world are searching for eternal life, they want to make sure that their soul is saved, Matthew 3:1-7, Luke 3:10-15. There are multitudes that are ripe, but the labourers are very few. In the present day, many are overripe and have no one to preach to them, as a result, the Lord has been dealing with some people. The harvest is ripe, there is no more time, very shortly the Lord will come to take His saints.

POINT 1: IT IS THE HARVEST TIME AND REASONS.

We all should know that multitudes are not yet saved. The harvest is ripe and we must make sure that the grace of God given to us will not be in vain; the time of grace is running out. 1st Corinthians 7:29-31; the time is short, all the prophecies of the second coming of Jesus is fulfilled and over fulfilled, anything can happen anytime from now. Remember, a time is coming when grace shall be no more, that is after death and rapture, there will be no grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Now is the time of grace; the accepted time, 2nd Corinthians 6:1-2.

Hebrews 9:27; when anyone dies what follows is judgment, but if you’ve accepted Jesus Christ and are living right when you die you’ll be in heaven. If you’re among the procrastinators and something happens to you while you’ve not repented, you’ll go to hellfire. Now that many people are tired after seeing the reality of the vanities of this life is the harvest time, Matthew 19:16.

Everyone should understand that grace abounds for us to reach out to the perishing souls. The grace is given to us to enable us to help others become saved and established in the kingdom. Joel 3:13-14; many people have not decided while there is no more time.

John 4:34-36; if we can’t win the lost souls now, tomorrow may be too late. We must not allow any soul to perish, because God will have all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1st Corinthians 15:10, Luke 19:10; having received the grace, we must make sure to seek and save the lost souls, 2nd Corinthians 5:20, Matthew 4:19,23-25. Our first priority should be to seek and save lost souls, Jesus Christ transformed us to become fishers of men, Luke 22:31-32. As we go out to reach them we shall be blessed.

POINT 2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND BENEFITS.

Remember, many of us who are saved are ambassadors of Jesus to do what He was doing while He was on earth.

2nd Corinthians 5:27; we should know that Christ has laboured and paid the price for every soul with His precious blood, John 19:30. We are sent to reap the harvest, receive rewards,s and be paid by God. John 4:36,35-38; even over 2,000 years ago when Jesus was on earth, the harvest was ripe how much more now. We must reach out to every soul because many of them are looking for who to save them, Joel 3:13-14.

The Lord is sorrowful over the situation and is weeping for these sinners to be saved. Make use of the grace before the trumpet sound, 1st Corinthians 6:1-2;4:1. We must go everywhere in compassion to reap the harvest of the earth for Jesus Christ, Matthew 9:35-38, Revelation 14:15, Mark 16:15. We must see this time of grace as an opportunity call to labour, reap, and be blessed. We should engage ourselves into evangelism(personal and group), house to house where permitted, market to market, enter into buses to evangelize, in season and out of season, engage in morning, afternoon, and evening cry. Engage in fasting and praying for souls to be saved all over the world. Send invitations to people to come to the service, send texts and e-mails. We must win them before the trumpet sounds, Colossians 4:17, John 5:17,36.

Benefits.

As we do so:

• Our heavenly Father will bless us.

• We shall have wages.

• We shall be with the Lord and receive our crowns of righteousness. 2nd Timothy 4:7-8.

• We shall meet in heaven to part no more.

PRAYERS.

1. Ask God to give you the grace to reap the harvest of the Lord; grace to preach and win souls to the kingdom.

2. Tell God to make you a soul winner and a fisher of men.

3. Ask God for grace, power, and anointing to win souls.

Father, work in the life of each and everyone, perfect and qualify us for your service. Empower, equip and use us as instruments to fulfill the 3 fold vision and the 10 billion souls mandate, so that at the end of this life, every one of us shall enter into your glory and receive our reward, in Jesus’ name.
