Pastor Muoka Visits Nigeria’s Defence Minister – Prays For Troops & President Tinubu

Our General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd.) OFR, at the Ministry of Defence Headquarters in Abuja on Monday, 26th May 2026.

During the visit, General Musa thanked Pastor Muoka and the entire Lord’s Chosen family for their prayers and support for Nigerian troops. He said the prayers from churches like ours go a long way in lifting the spirit of soldiers fighting against terrorism, banditry, and other security threats across the country.

The Minister also called on religious leaders in Nigeria to keep preaching peace, unity, and love for the nation, because the church has a big role to play in keeping Nigeria together.

On his part, Papa Muoka assured the Minister of our church’s continued prayers and support for the Armed Forces and the Federal Government.

He prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking God to give him wisdom, strength, good health, and the ability to lead Nigeria into peace and better times.

He also prayed for divine protection and victory for every Nigerian soldier on the field, and for lasting peace in every part of the country.

The visit ended with an exchange of gifts, sealing the bond between the Lord’s Chosen family and Nigeria’s defence community.
