Oke-Igbere, Openua Branch Church Dedication Service At Openua, Okota, Lagos State, Nigeria
Indeed, the occasion was a celebration of God’s faithfulness and blessings upon the lives of members of Openua branch as the new branch was named, “A Place Of Solution”.
The dedication ceremony commenced with a spirit-filled session of magnificent praises and worship to God, as members of the church from far and near gathered to witness and celebrate the faithfulness of God in establishing His house.
TESTIMONIES OF GOD’S WONDROUS WORKS
The occasion featured remarkable testimonies of God’s wondrous works, as some worshippers shared their experiences of divine intervention and miraculous healing.
One of the testimonies was shared by a woman who recounted how God turned her unpleasant situation around through a series of extraordinary interventions.
First, she testified that her son’s genotype was miraculously changed from SS to AS.
Secondly, while her son was hospitalized, she encountered a woman whose son had been diagnosed with appendicitis and scheduled for surgery. Moved by compassion and faith in God, she prayed and sang praises with the woman and her son. According to her testimony, when the doctors examined the boy in preparation for the operation, they reportedly discovered that the appendicitis was no longer present.
Thirdly, she testified that her own son, who had also been hospitalized, received divine healing and was subsequently discharged. Today, he is strong, healthy, and full of vitality.
These testimonies and more served as a reminder of God’s power to intervene in seemingly hopeless situations and strengthened the faith of those present.
DISTINGUISHED GUEST IN ATTENDANCE
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Bale of Oke-Okpere community, Mr Isaac Tajide, who attended the grand occasion to witness the dedication and worship God for His mighty works in the lives of the indigenes and members of the church.
DEDICATION OF THE CHURCH AND DECLARATIONS BY THE GENERAL OVERSEER
Pastor Joshua Mouka preached on the topic “Jesus Christ, The Narrow Way” alongside with the G.O who gave thanks to God for the beautiful edifice and appreciated the members of the Oke-Okpere, Openua Branch for their labour, commitment, and contributions towards the establishment of the church.
Subsequently, our Daddy in the Lord dedicated the church to God and pronounced blessings upon the congregation. He declared that everyone who came into the branch to pray would receive speedy answers to their prayers.
Furthermore, he prophetically named the branch “A House of Succour, Solution, and Refuge,” declaring it a place where people would find divine help, answers to their challenges, and refuge in the presence of God.
The General Overseer also reminded the congregation of the imminent coming of Jesus Christ and emphasized the importance of preparing for eternity. He stated:
“If you are looking for a remedy from God, you should know the kind of God we serve. He is a holy and righteous Father. For you to walk with Him, you must be born again. Believe that Jesus Christ died and shed His precious blood for you. Reject the devil and receive Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and personal Saviour. Then, go on to live a righteous life, which will ultimately prepare you for heaven at the end of this earthly journey.”
PRAYERS AND INTERCESSION
The General Overseer subsequently interceded for sinners and backsliders, praying for their salvation and restoration to God.
He also offered prayers for the church, asking God to grant the congregation victory, healing, open doors, divine favour, and ultimate protection. He committed the new branch into God’s hands, trusting Him to make it a place of spiritual growth, deliverance, and abundant testimonies.
