The God of Chosen Answers Prayer.

I Had No Job, No Money, And Was Even Borrowing Clothes
Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad Psalm 126:2-3 (KJV).
From time immemorial, God always brings victory, peace, and undeniable joy to every difficult situation, especially when it concerns His children. Read the testimony of our brother who just experienced this immense power and intervention of the God of Chosen. Here’s his story:
Chosen, praise the Lord. My name is Brother Chijioke John Chukwukaelo. I became a member of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement in 2006. I thank God for making my family and me part of this great ministry. I have three testimonies to share with you today.
Firstly, I want to thank God for granting my mother victory in a long-standing court case with my uncle. This uncle has been a source of trouble for us. He owns a large compound with many children. Whenever they build houses, they often extend the structures over the fence into our property. Their roofing even caused rainwater to flow into our compound. This situation caused my mother, a 73-year-old woman, a lot of stress.
We reported the matter to the Federal Ministry of Environment, and it was taken to court. During this time, the church was observing a 120-day fasting and prayer program titled “Come, Let Us Go to War.” I took the matter to God, trusting in His promise that He would fight for us while we held our peace.
Each time I traveled, my mother would call me, saying she was tired of the situation. But we held on to the prayers from our General Overseer, who always prays that court cases be settled in our favour. I’m here to testify that God granted us victory. The court ruled against my uncle, removed the illegal structures, and sent him to an old-age correctional facility. God gave us peace and justice. Chosen, praise the Lord!
My second testimony is about my place of work. I don’t usually mention the company’s name because I believe the job was a direct gift from the God of Chosen.
Nineteen years ago, I came to this ministry with absolutely nothing. I had no job, no money, and was even borrowing clothes. I picked a belt head from the gutter to use as my belt. That was how bad things were.
Our General Overseer advised us to find something to do. I only had a school certificate. I had no connections, no special appearance, and no one to help me. So, I looked up to God. I joined a contract security firm, and before I went there, Pastor Emmanuel Eze prayed for me. He said God told him I should go ahead because He would make me great.
I started as a contract staff, and today, I have been a confirmed staff member of that company for nearly 14 years. The God of Chosen didn’t just give me a job—He gave me a future. This year, my salary was increased by 28%, and the arrears for 3 months plus my upfront salary ₦835,900 was paid last week. Praise the Lord!
Even my pension is now well-funded. By this new increment, my retirement package has reached eight figures (over ₦11 million). God is preparing me for a peaceful retirement. Chosen, praise Master Jesus!
My last testimony is one I believe will encourage and teach every Chosen member.
During the “Covenant of Peace and Blessings” crusade, our General Overseer made a call for pledges, starting with items like keke maruwa and then down to cash. When he mentioned ₦100,000, a small voice told me to give that amount. But I ignored it because I had recently spent close to ₦3 million and only had ₦102,000 left.
Even though I usually obey God’s voice and always pay my tithes and first fruits, this time I held back. That night, I had a dream. I saw the angel of our pastor, who usually visits me in dreams to guide, comfort, and even fight my battles. But this time, he came to rebuke me. He said, “He will not bless you,” and walked away. I broke down in tears and woke up very disturbed. That dream stayed with me.
Later, during the Combined Service for Fruitfulness and Multiplication, our General Overseer encouraged us to add something extra to our offerings or tithes if we had already pledged. It felt like he was speaking directly to me. I immediately added to my offering that day.
That night, I couldn’t sleep. I knew I had to obey God and redeem that pledge. One week later, after the workers’ meeting, I went to the account department and paid my tithe and the ₦100,000 pledge. It felt like a heavy load had been lifted from my shoulders.
That same night, I had another dream. I was holding ₦100,000 to give to a woman, but I couldn’t find her. On my way back, two managers from my company tried to take the money from me, but I refused. I woke up immediately. The next Monday at work, those two same managers were involved in a serious issue and are now facing disciplinary action. I was completely exempted. Praise the Lord!
I realized that if I had “paid” that money in the dream, it would have been disastrous. God used that dream as a sign to confirm that He had forgiven me and accepted my offering. He also used it as a warning for all of us—God knows our capacity, and when He asks us to give, it’s for our own blessing.
