The God of Chosen Answers Prayer.

How The Family Yoke Of 50 Years Was Broken
Isaiah 61:7 (KJV) – “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.”
When the power of God touches a life, age-long struggles are broken, and long-forgotten destinies are revived. Read this powerful testimony of our brother.
My name is Brother Angel, and I live in Ondo State, Nigeria.
I want to thank God for breaking the yoke of 50 years of illiteracy in my family. I call this the beginning of my life’s journey, the main testimony of my story.
It all started in 2012 when I joined The Lord’s Chosen. I was at home one day and heard Chosen members clapping and praying. At that time, for almost 50 years, no youth in my family had graduated from university. Parents did not see the need to send their children to school, and most were only concerned about marriage. But in 2012, I gave my life to Christ through The Lord’s Chosen, and God began to work in my life. Before then, I was an illiterate. I could not read or write well. I was already struggling in JSS1, but by JSS2, after joining Chosen, God began to answer my prayers. I started reading and writing so well that I even used copying note for people as a small business while in school. From being an illiterate, I became the class captain, and later, the senior prefect of my secondary school.
When I finished secondary school, my parents were willing to support me in going to university, but they had no money. God, however, provided a way. He opened doors for me, and I gained admission into the Federal University of Technology, Akure. Later, God used a man to help me, and I received a Federal Government scholarship.
Though I faced many battles and challenges at the university, the God of Chosen saw me through. Today, I stand here as a Computer Science graduate, and also the second graduate in my entire family. I return all glory to God, and I say may His name be highly exalted in Jesus’ name.
My second testimony is this: one day, while on my way to school, a trailer hit the car I was in from behind, pushing us into another trailer in front. But the God of Chosen preserved our lives. None of us was hurt. For this, I say may the name of the Lord be exalted forever in Jesus’ name.
Finally, I pray for our Daddy in the Lord: heaven at last. For all the Chosen pastors: heaven at last. For me and my family: heaven at last, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Indeed, what God cannot do does not exist. He turned 50 years of limitation into a generational victory for Brother Angel, and He preserved his life from a fatal accident. Are you facing the same kind of family bondage, delay, or hopelessness? The same God who did it for our brother will surely do it for you.
