How God Miraculously Intervened In My Academic Life And Endeavors

Jude 1:3 – Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

My name is Mmesoma Okechuwu. I have come to thank God for making I and my family Chosen members.

Last year, in our previous youth program. I stood on this podium to testify of how the God Of Chosen gave me the grace to establish a campus fellowship in my school, and by the grace of God, I am now here to share the goodness of the Lord in my life. Brethren, God has been so faithful.

At first, I want to appreciate this Almighty God for the salvation of my soul. By God’s grace, I’m a student of Community Health Practitioner And Training, and I’m already rounding up the program. When I got admitted into this school, the ladies put on skirts, but before I could know it, our HOD changed the dress code of our department and instructed that ladies should no longer wear skirts but trousers, pointing that we are in a new generation and we need to look smart in the department.

On one occasion, I went to him and told him that I’m a Chosen and I can’t compromise my faith, I know my believe and who I am. He gave me deaf ear, and on another occasion, I went with my mom who spoke to him on my behalf and he still refuted the plea. What he ended up saying was, if he allows me to wear skirts in that department it would be on one condition: I will not join them in the clinic or hospital anytime they are to go for practicals. If that’s what I want, so be it, since I dont want to compromise my faith . I had no option than to resort to taking the matter to God in prayer and also met with my State Pastor who joined me to pray.
Finally, God heard and answered our prayers, and out of two hundred and something students in my department, I’m the only one putting on skirts. Again, everything which my HOD said I wont participate in because of my believe, I have done all of them, Including the practicals and the clinical attachments, plus I’m now a worker in that clinic.

Those people who professed the same faith with me couldn’t stand the pressure, they compromised their faith but God helped me to stand strong amidst all odds.

Secondly, last year during the previous youth program, after my testimony, God Of Chosen unexpectedly surprised me with a miracle scholarship which made me call him a Miracle God.

Lastly, before I came for this program, I was assigned to one community for my community mobilization, on getting to the camp, I located a Chosen church there and met with the Pastor who told me about the general combined vigil.

Meanwhile, in our camp, we were upto a hundred and something people who are my colleagues, I told them that I would be going for a vigil asking them to join me, most of them refused, I tried all I could but all was to no avail, but in His infinite mercies convinced them and about 15 persons followed me to that program.

After the program(vigil), the Lord’s Chosen members and non-members among us began to burn for God. Thereafter, I had a dream about death and God used that medium to quicken everyone to become prayerful, this made our supervisor decree that we should always engage in general prayer sessions every morning and night, and I always led in those sessions of prayers.

On the other hand, there’s this woman who belongs to a particular denomination, she always make people to quarrel and fight after prayers. She became a torn in the flesh till she caused a problem which made the vigilante group and occupants of that community to assemble, before we could know it, she began to talk down about a lot of people even me, just to cause more problem. She also confessed on one occasion how the Holy Ghost fire which we do declare while praying use to affect her, but in everything, I appreciate this Great God who has fought the battle for us, now she has been removed from that camp. I thank God for that intervention and what He has being doing in our midst via the campus fellowship.

Are you in a situation whereby your faith is being tested and you’re at the verge of compromising your stand, remember Jesus Christ is the only one who can calm that storm in your life.

Relentlessly hold on to God and He will see you through, also locate any Lord’s Chosen church closer to you and the Lord will perfectly accomplish all that concerns you in Jesus’ name, amen.
