The God of Chosen Answers Prayer.

How A 14-Year Struggle Turned Into Divine Breakthrough
Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. — Psalm 126:2-3 KJV
Some testimonies unfold quietly while others arrive with unmistakable force. What you are about to read is not merely a sequence of events, but a reminder that long delays do not cancel divine purpose. Read the full testimony below:
My name is Brother Kade Amar.
On May 25, 2019, in Taraba State, God brought me to Himself through the Lord’s Chosen. From that day, my life changed. I graduated in 2005, but for fourteen years I remained without a job. That long season of joblessness weighed heavily on me until God broke the yoke in 2019.
One day, while the church headquarters in Taraba State was publicizing an upcoming crusade, I stood watching. As they shared flyers, I felt prompted not to wait but to step forward and collect one. After I did, I heard a clear voice say, “Go home.”
That night, I had a troubling dream. I struggled with two large scorpions. People who had been distributing the flyers appeared in the dream and helped me kill one, but the other refused to die. I realized I could not move; I was lying helplessly on the floor. Then the scorpion stung me on the left side of my stomach.
When I woke up the next morning, I was paralyzed from head to toe. The same voice warned me not to tell anyone, not even my wife, and I obeyed.
On the Saturday of the crusade, the voice spoke again: “Make sure you attend the crusade, even if you are limping.” I forced myself to stand. Slowly, painfully, I began to walk.
When I reached the church headquarters, I touched the fence surrounding the compound. Instantly, I felt something disconnect within me. The pain vanished. My strength returned.
From that day, I became consistent in church, attending all weekly services. In September of that same year, I was invited for an interview with the United Nations. I attended, but for months, there was no response. In November, after attending the Hope for the Needy program, I prepared to travel back. I paid first to sit in the front seat of the bus. Before departure, another passenger challenged my seat, insisting I could not sit there. I gave it up without argument and moved to the back.
On the journey from Lagos, our bus approached a Dangote truck. The truck’s brakes failed and it crashed into the front of the bus. The bus became lodged against the truck and was dragged for nearly 50 kilometers. Only the driver’s door could open. That was how we escaped.
I was bleeding when I got out, but I kept saying to myself, “I just came from God’s program: this is not my portion.” The man who took the front seat could not move. When we finally pulled him out, his legs had been crushed up to the waist.
We received medical help. Shortly after, I got a call from the United Nations. I had been offered the job. It was astonishing. I was appointed a national officer: an opportunity that is not easily given. I resumed work in February 2020 and was even allowed to choose whether I would be paid in naira or dollars.
In May 2025, I received a letter stating that due to global funding challenges, my position would be discontinued. I prayed quietly and called my state Pastor. Wherever I travel, I make it a point to worship in a Chosen church.
A voice told me, “If you want to go to Lagos, go with faith.” I flew to Lagos, met our Daddy, showed him the letter, and he prayed for me.
I was scheduled to stop work on July 30th 2025. But on July 26, I received another letter: this time instructing me to continue working until the end of the year. When the year ended, they sent another letter of termination of contract to me. I met our General Overseer, he prayed again and the job was given back to me despite the fact that over 300 people applied for that post. It was given back to me.
This is what the God of Chosen has done for me.
