The God of Chosen Answers Prayer.

His Excellency, Gov. Uba Sani Represented By Rev. Dr. Ishaya Adamu Jangado During The Kaduna State Crusade
I used to see you on television, but today, they are at my doorpost.
That was the striking reaction shared at Murtala Square, Kaduna, during The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement’s Kaduna State Crusade, themed:
“THE WONDERFUL MOVE OF GOD AS OF OLD.”
Governor Uba Sani was unable to attend personally because of other state functions, but he sent his message through his Senior Special Assistant on Religious Affairs (Christian), Reverend Dr. Ishaya Adamu Jangado.
And the message carried some remarkable observations about The Lord’s Chosen.
Speaking about the church, he said:
“This church is known worldwide as a church that loves evangelism.”
He spoke about seeing Chosen members preaching in motor parks and different places, taking the message of God beyond the church building.
Then came a statement that immediately connects with anyone who knows The Lord’s Chosen:
“To identify the members of this church is not difficult. You will see them with the apron.”
And he added:
“This church is known as a church of miracle.”
He also recalled hearing a Chosen evangelist repeatedly say:
“A sinner cannot be a Christian and a Christian cannot be a sinner.”
That is a direct message about the kind of Christian life being preached.
But there was another important challenge.
He encouraged the church to reach people in languages they understand and spoke about the possibility of making the church more indigenous so that the message could go “to nook and cranny,” “far,” and “deeper.”
Then came the line that may remain one of the most memorable moments:
“All these umbrellas, I used to see them on television… But today, they are my doorpost.”
But the programme did not end with a message from the Governor’s representative.
After the appreciation to the Governor and the Kaduna State Government, Pastor Lazarus Muoka led the congregation in prayers for Kaduna State.
He prayed that Kaduna would remain peaceful and united and that the progress of the state would be evident everywhere. He also prayed for the Governor, asking God to rule over the state, strengthen, preserve and bless him, and make the administration its best.
The prayer was bigger than one person.
It was a prayer for a state.
A prayer for peace.
A prayer for unity.
A prayer for progress.
A prayer for good leadership.
And a prayer that God would take charge.
The Governor’s representative ended with a declaration:
“Long live the Chosen Church of Jesus. Long live Kaduna State and long live Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
And Pastor Muoka’s prayer placed the entire state into God’s hands.
