God’s Divine Swap: Instead Of Being Sacked, My Manager Was Sacked

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Our God is a great God, whenever He steps into any situation, the narrative changes, and the table turns around for His people. Read this amazing testament of God’s wonders in the life of our sister.

My name is Sister Onyinyechi Obuegulam, I reside in Lagos, Nigeria. I want to appreciate God of Chosen for making my family and I chosen.

My testimony goes thus.
I work in a Chinese company and I have two Chinese as my boss. Our General Manager is the younger brother of the owner of the company. He once told us that whatever our HR (Human Resource) says will stand in the company. She occupies a strategic position in the company as HR and is also one of the company’s managers. Afterward, he told us that HR wants to sack one person and he would approve it when the time comes. We the workers were confused by this statement. We were wondering who she wants to sack.

Subsequently, I went to work as usual two weeks ago. I saw my HR who was also Chinese as well. She called me and told me that I was not adding any value to the company. This was happening on a Tuesday.

That fateful Tuesday, I was following our Church Tuesday Revival Hour Service online in my office, when one of our colleagues came and informed me that our HR wanted to see me, unknown to me that she had gathered all the staff in the company and she wanted to disgrace me publicly before everyone.

She ordered me to stand in their middle. There she told all the staff in my presence that the management was wasting the money they were paying me as salary, she added that I was not doing anything in the company. Then, I asked her why she was saying so because I have been faithful in my duty as the Customer Service Executive for the company. I felt so embarrassed, so I left the meeting and went back to my office with tears and I continued with the program I was watching.

As our General Overseer was praying, He assured us that anything we asked God that day, we would receive an answer. Immediately, I keyed into that declaration, I said God of Chosen I am about to ask for the impossible because our G.O. has instructed us to ask God for something that looks impossible to humans. I deeply prayed and told God that I wanted my Manager (HR) to be sacked that very day. Initially, I doubted the possibility of the answer to that prayer. However, I believed in God for a miracle.

That same Tuesday around 5 pm, something unusual happened. Our General Manager and the HR were having a serious disagreement, the HR normally threatens the General Manager all the time by saying that she would resign, this time around, she made that utterance and our General Manager sacked her immediately, he even went further to tell the accountant to book a return flight for her immediately. That was when it dawned on her that she had been sacked instead of me. She started crying and pleading with the General Manager to withdraw the sack letter because of her family that she was fending for but he vehemently refused to withdraw the sack letter stating that she must be sacked and her service was no longer needed in the company.

Afterward, she was replaced with an Indian man who gives me peace of mind at my workplace. Since then, I have been working with ease and joy. To crown it all, I found favour in the sight of my General Manager. He was pleased with my work delivery. Brethren, that was how God Almighty turned the table around through the declaration of our G.O.
