He Came To Church Feeling That Death Was Near, But His Story Took An Unexpected Turn

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV)

For seven long years, he battled unbearable stomach pain until he felt death was near. Desperate for help, he came to The Lord’s Chosen, not knowing that his life was about to take an unexpected turn. But that was not the end of his story. Years later, his child faced a condition that reportedly required surgery, and he himself was scheduled for an eye operation.

What happened during these three different experiences? How did his story unfold? Brother Monday Wonder shares his testimony of faith, hope, and healing.

My name is Brother Monday Wonder, and I am from Akwa Ibom State. I joined The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry in 2009 during the programme God’s Perfect Touch in Abuja.

TESTIMONY 1: SEVEN YEARS OF STOMACH PAIN CAME TO AN END

For seven years, I suffered from severe stomach pain. My condition was so bad that I could hardly eat anything except bitter-leaf soup. The pain was unbearable, and I felt death was near. I even thought it would be better to die in church than in a native doctor’s place. That was how I came to the programme, desperately seeking help.

During the programme, the pain became unbearable, but by the end, it had disappeared! After that experience, I could eat different kinds of food again. The God of Chosen turned my situation around, and I give Him all the glory. Praise the Lord!

TESTIMONY 2: MY CHILD’S HERNIA DISAPPEARED

Years after my first testimony, another challenge arose in my family.

In 2015, my child was diagnosed with hernia, and we were told that surgery was necessary. While my wife was eager to proceed with the operation, I asked her to wait until after the programme.

We attended the programme, and afterwards, the condition disappeared. Amazingly, we did not even notice immediately! It was our neighbour who later drew our attention to the fact that the condition was no longer there. Since then, my child has remained strong.

To God be the glory!

TESTIMONY 3: MY EXPERIENCE AT THE PROGRAMME AND THE ENEMIES SUBMITTED

Another challenge came when I developed an eye condition in 2021. The problem persisted, and I was eventually scheduled for an eye operation.

However, the operation date coincided with the programme And the Enemies Submitted in Lagos. I decided to reschedule the operation so I could attend the programme, trusting God for His intervention.

During the programme, something flew out of my eye, and I experienced healing.

Brethren, when I look back at these three experiences, the seven years of stomach pain, my child’s condition, and my eye problem, I can only give God all the glory for His goodness towards me and my family.
