A Wrong Transfer Triggered Uncommon Blessings

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose – Romans 8:28 (KJV).

When life offers nothing but hardship and confusion, it can be easy to lose hope. But for our brother, a seeming mistake turned into the beginning of unimaginable blessings. What looked like a financial error became the seed for divine turnaround.

I was once a commercial bus driver, and people still remember me by that phase. In 2019, I left it due to mounting challenges. I later found myself in Computer Village, Ikeja, trying to build a new life. Things were tough, and in 2021, I got married while still trying to stabilize my business.

In April 2021, I joined a meeting back home. I attempted to transfer ₦50,000 as my contribution. Unknown to me, I mistakenly sent the money to the Church account. When I discovered the error while reviewing the receipt, I was shocked. I told my wife, and instead of panicking, we turned it into a prayer point: “God, turn this into a miracle.”

From that day forward, everything changed. My shop, which was usually empty, became busy and full of customers. Business became like “hot merchandise.” Then I remembered a piece of land I had abandoned for years. I feared it had been taken over by “omo nile,” but to my surprise, it was untouched. I called my engineer, and we began working on the site, something I had no plan to do.

By the mercy of God, what started as a minor clearing ended up as a completed one-storey building in Lagos. Meanwhile, my wife had expressed concern about being the only one in such a big house. Her words troubled me. So, during a combined service, I poured out my heart to God and prayed for a baby boy.

To the glory of God, in July 2024, my wife conceived, and today she has given birth to a healthy, bouncing baby boy.

Now, I stand as a living testimony: from hardship to abundance, from a mistaken transfer to supernatural provision, from an empty shop to a thriving business, and from a rented space to owning a story building and a son in Lagos.

I give all glory to the God of Chosen, and I pray for our General Overseer, that God will keep him in good health and grant him Heaven at last.
